Geoff Thomas

 

Founder Member and lead vocalist. A former member of 'The Voodoos' who recorded the collectors item 'Little Brenda' for legendary   producer Joe Meek. He worked solo for some years in holiday camps and clubs around the country before forming Fat Old Dad with Ant & Mike.

Martin

 

Martin Donald

Martin has been active in several areas of the music business for many years - radio, theatre, touring, writing and teaching, plus numerous television shows for Carlton and Thames Television. He has been Musical Director to many artistes, including The Drifters, The Platters and Little and Large and has worked in many diverse situations from The QE2 cruise liner to The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and recently with Jools Holland and Tom Jones

Funnily enough, there have also been numerous comedians, including Bob Monkhouse, Michael Barrymore, Jim Davidson, John Inman, Rolf Harris, Freddie Starr and I'm sure there's more!

Simon

 

 

Simon Dove

Drummer Simon  is self-taught and has been playing since he was 15 . (He's over 16 Now!)

He has played in numerous bands plus a few jazz bands in between.

(Mmm Nice!)

Mike

 

Simon Rownes

Simon was originally from the Midlands and has played bass with a number of successful cover and original bands over the years.  He started playing bass at 15 moving to bass from the saxophone.  His first professional work was with a Rock ’N Roll trio called the Rockabilly Rebels, touring throughout the UK while also completing his degree.  He later played with a number of original bands including The Human Zoo, playing mostly the London club scene.  Simon studied bass at Basstech in London and took private lessons with Joe Hubbard.
