The Martin Donald Award for Musical Excellence

Martin has been honoured by having a trophy named after him that is intended to inspire budding young musicians.

Martin, presenting the2009 winner of the annual music competition at Stoke College, with the trophy that bears his name' - "I feel very honoured" says Martin!

Due to his recent health problems this is the first time that Martin has been able to present the trophy in person.

Harry, the winner this year, plays sax, guitar, bass and ukulele!
